bigreader I'm okie..thanks for caring ..just need time to readjust kind of walked out on my job..so looking for stuff to fill in my time ..I hate being bored and sitting sround fiddling my thumb been looking for courses to do and taking my camera out.. these I took yesterday in Warrandyte..

Jakkiea777, the lounge is a lovely shape and fits the room well, it also looks very comfy (so hopefully will be as it wears in). I think the biggest challenge is finding colours to blend in with the stone and also with your floor colour, although it looks as though it blends with your wall colour. I agree remove the ottoman for now as there is already enough of that colour in the room. Perhaps add a lovely green plant in a big pot in its place. Have you considered neutral colours such as grey or even white cushions, rug, to blend it all in? Maybe abit of green as well? Love to see pics as you work out what works, I can see the room coming together beautifully.

Hi pallavi the cut out area would be great for the marble table. A large round mirror above it (i just bought one from freedom at a reasonable price). Maybe a hanging macrame pot plant in the corner (hanging from thr ceiling) where ur current plant is......this would be a vocal point as soon as people walk in. Yes a piece of artwork on the opposite wall would be nice to balance both sides. Hope this helps you alittle to get ur creative hat on and just go for it. the only problem is there is no storage as u wanted but you can always put a nice bowl on the console for u to store keys.

Hi Monia, thank you so much for taking the time to reply. The only issue in placing the console on the opposite wall is that I have planned to place 4 big photo frames in there (black and white). This is a feature wall and I always thought about having some nice big frames in there. I am even considering not having a console/mirror at all so that I can keep the photos there. The console + photos + mirror on that same side I think will be a bit too busy? Thanks again for your help.
