am i correct in understanding that this space has no windows and will be a wiw and entry from the living areas to the master bedroom? do you plan to have enclosed storage (wardrobes with doors) or open shelves, what do you need to store eg clothes for how many people, lots of ball gowns and multiple shoes or mostly jeans and shirts, clothes for various seasons, or only tropical as well as christmas trees and suitcase and secret stuff...start with what you need to store and work backwards and excellent lighting (daylight, skylight or electrical) will make all the difference for success

I think it depends on how neat you are in keeping your hanging clothes looking nice. Some walk-in-robes have the aesthetic of a tornado hitting a 2nd hand clothing store. You have three "dead" corners in your proposed walk-through robe which are always tricky to access clothes. For a walk-through robe I would always prefer two opposing rows of built-in cupboards with nice doors and door hardware to avoid any potential mess. At the end of the day it is your home, and it is your private sanctuary so it has to be right for you and I wouldn't care about "tradition". So many "traditions" in building design are about saving builders costs, and not about good design for the way that you live, which is the most important thing. The first thing I would suggest , would be to keep your lawyer 'in the loop' -- don't immediately threaten the builders with lawyers , but explain things and get their suggestions , and the lawyers too . $1000 of advice may be invaluable , but spending $20k each on lawyers maybe not ? As far as the plans go , you already have a 2nd WIR in the room as far as I can see -- so if 'all else' fails , you have that , and maybe a $150 self-assembled back-up in the garage if needed for seasonal clothes ? I'd try and delete all of WIR 1 -- for space but also slightly easier access to the ensuite . Not ideal , but may suit you better ? And probably too late now , but with someone with access limitations , possibly a door direct into the WC would have been beneficial too -- like I said , only minor , and presumably too late now , or not needed , but just another opinion .
