Or if budget allows, why not have both an overhead shower rose from the ceiling and a wall mounted handheld shower head. Hubby prefers overhead shower (and I think most guys do as they don't really care if their hair gets wet) but I don't wash my hair everyday and wanted a wall mounted handheld one, so as we couldn't agree we settled for both with a diverter mixer tap. P.S. the ceiling shower rose we got can be slightly tilted and I think most of them do so you can have it at a bit of an angle. P.P.S. if you can't get both then I would go with a wall mounted handheld shower head as it will be much easier to clean the shower area, can't imagine the practicality of cleaning with an overhead... good luck! :)

While both are great options we agree with Tribbletrouble44152k7 Trek - definitely depends on your space. We personally like swing or pivot doors - easier to clean, space efficient and easy to assemble if you are doing it DIY. Alternatively you could use a glass screen and do away with the door all together if that's possible? Hmm, seems no one has seen them around. I have found them online at Trend Living at Chipping Norton in NSW, Aeros in Victoria and Stallion Product in WA. I didn't think they were that uncommon. Any feedback would be appreciated!!!!

When our building company architect had drawn up the plans and we'd gone on to the next stage of "add-ons", we requested a niche in the tiled shower area for shampoos etc, but were told it can't be done due to water-tight issues. Then, during the walk-through before signing off, we mentioned this to the building supervisor, and he was surprised about our request of a shelf being declined, and said that we should've asked them before they tiled. But, since we'd already made quite a few changes to the standard plan, we didn't want to cause any aggro. Now we have one of those metal extendable corner shelves. So, it pays to get a second opinion.
