I don't think we can go wrong with a dark grey ie. gun metal grey or similar in the Dulux range. Interestingly, I have tried tester pots of colours like Toffee Fingers (a brown with some pink in it) from Dulux and they come out too light. My Hardifence is light blue/grey. I have a good eye for colour generally but am interested to know what has worked with other people. I was going to go for a sky blue colour to really pop the whole scheme but really like the neutrals which I feel you can put zany cushions or other accessories in the scheme. Masters have the most gorgeous outdoor cushions which I spotted today in lovely blues and greens - so having a sky blue fence may overdo the scheme or may make it truly come alive!

Our apartment is perfect for my partner and I as we love monochrome, soft colours and grey! The owners before us loved the red and black combo so added a HUGE red glass panel stuck onto the black caesarstone splashback as a feature. They did something similar in the bathroom over marble (gasp!) and in the study they replaced the inbuilt black wooden desk with red wood laminate. As it is super expensive to replace marble and caeserstone it is something we can't do right now and have to live with it. I tend to block it out of my mind... It's horrid.

Drying room with retractable clothes line, floor to ceiling cupboards on one side, low line shelves for shoes underneath and a place for kids sports bags on top, a window for ventilation, and double cavity slider doors to close it all off - BLISS!!!
