Need Urgent Master Ensuite Layout Design!
Comments (6)What about this as a design..........this house design is about angles so I just did a print screen of the design so it's not straight because of the design. There is no glass in the shower and the whole ensuite is fully tiled. The shower has a ceiling shower head and a wand plus a full width stainless steel grate at the back of the shower. You cannot see the toilet either as it is hidden behind the vanity wall. The linen has black glass sliding doors....See MoreMaster bedroom, WIR and en-suite design
Comments (12)reluctant to lose the convenience of outside access to a toilet my suggestion sacrifices a little space off the lounge and bedroom to keep the extra toilet and use the original laundry space for a bigger ensuite with separate toilet and double vanities, the new extension makes a more spacious wiw with only standard doorway openings to the new rooms but the ideal outside door for the laundry will depend on the location of the drying area and you may decide that a western door or no outside door (and walk through the verandah?) could both add more counter space to the laundry and, much as i like the gable roof for the extension, it would be interesting to obtain a comparative quote for a simple skillion roof (and raked ceilings for the new laundry and wiw) that may save a lot of extra roof structure that doesn't add anything to the inside of the new rooms or streetscape and could be much cheaper.....See MoreMaster En-suite Help
Comments (29)I also like oklouise plan. good insulation is the key. In your original posted plan, Maybe change where the beds are positioned in the room. I think there is some bad feng shui if your head is backing onto a toilet. Apart from the noise factor, every time the toilet is flushed....See Moreextension plan advice
Comments (6)being able to walk from the carport around and about through the laundry and pantry was ok but bringing in bags of groceries only happens occasionally and my new arrangement only adds a few metres to that walk while having the extra space for the theatre and laundry and more direct access from carport to inside saves lots of wasted space and makes the rooms more comfortable to use (eg space in the laundry to stand an ironing board and a theatre room more comfortable for group TV watching) but more importantly having a pool needs supervision from inside and swopping the lounge gives better line of sight to a centrally placed pool that allows for the garden and alfresco at the sides and less wasted space but main reason for my suggestions is for you to consider all options so that compromises are made to suit the way you want to live...See MoreRani
