The double doors of the reception room lead into a bright and elegant space. The large room has been divided through the use of furniture to create a cosy space around the fireplace. The patterned stools can be moved in either space to accommodate more guests. The copper pendant lights add a warm glow to the room. We have used parquet flooring edged with brass inlay to add to the luxurious feel of the space.

The family requested a “Texas Deco Industrial” style home. Part of the USGBC’s LEED Pilot program it was built with Insulated Concrete Forms and multiple solar systems. Unique and whimsical, the interior design reflects the family’s artful and fun loving personality. Completed in 2007 it was certified as the first LEED Gold home in Houston.

We absolutely adore this retro kitchen. The bright appliances and checkerboard floor make this the perfect place to just "chill". Top it off with out handmade Bubbles tile as a focal point behind the stove and as "floating" accents in the field tile and we don't think think kitchen could get any better. This room was created as a comfy space for a young adult who loves to curl up and read. The custom bed was a must and is very inviting, like an oversized sofa. The walls are hand painted. No detail was overlooked, including the small bookcase that was lined with complimentary wallpaper. The custom chair and draper complete the look.
