Here is the completed family room looking southwest. We raised the the bottom chord of the roof truss to gain ceiling height from 8ft to 10ft. We enlarged the connection between the family rm and new kitchen to make it one space. The mantle was refinished and tile was added around the fireplace. New book shelves were added flanking the fireplace.

Love the look of Herringbone floors in a home? They have a rich history as a traditional floor pattern in Europe and truly create a classic timeless look in any space. For this Chelsea Townhouse we provided and installed a European White Oak, wire brushed in the field and finished with a hardwax oil. The light character and wire brushed texture give the space warmth and offer varying tones complimenting all aspects of this home design.

This 1920's Brick Town Home had not been updated since the 1960's and required a complete renovation which included all new systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.), Our Design Team created an open floor plan with updated finishes while still maintaining the old charm of this beautiful home. Craftsman details throughout in the moldings, doors, tile floors, cabinets, and stairs. Natural light fills each room. A wonderful use of space and how to appropriately adapt a 100 year old structure with the needs of a modern family. Check out some of the before photos to gain an even better appreciation of this transformation.
