Comments (1)I love the IKEA Expedit storage units that you can add on top of each other (or just get the big 5x5 one). but the photo with the wall shelves might be better for you to put siliding doors in front of it...See More"Need help with layout of music/ study room"
Comments (3)The visual artist needs the window - so position easel? or other working items where the keyboards currently are . . . and start working from there. The blue sofa cushions - maybe hang them against the walls (they could function as pinboards?) - but I think you need something to deaden the sound - or your neighbours may hate you. Rugs on the floor and the thickest drapes you can afford (or improvise with blankets) for the window. Hmmm . . . maybe artist towards the right-handside (door-side) of the window - trestles in L shape along the long wall, and a bit of the window to make 2 desks - and musician's stuff occupying the wall adjacent to the door and into the centre of the room? Everyone gets a shelf each in the cupboard . . . and a dedicated space in the room?...See Moreneed a bath in kids bathroom?
Comments (2)My kids love their baths. At 3.5 and 5.5 they spend hours in the bath. Prob will for several years more years yet. Ours is a shower over the bath. I wouldn't want them in my ensuite everyday either. My vote Ius shower over the baths, works fine for kids and teenagers, and fewer grungy corners to clean....See MoreNeed help with a shared study
Comments (3)the rule has to be that everyone has storage allocated to their own stuff and any left out of correct storage goes in the garbage bin (or hidden by mum and dad and brought out as a "new" gift at some future opportunity) i guess we should always do what we expect the kids to copy...how old are the kids? could their stuff be stored in roll out bins under the bench and your stuff up higher ...it's lovely that the kids want to be with you and makes it easier to supervise their activities...See Morejbantick
