Comments (45)And when your child comes in from playing and sits on the $6000 chair and he's got an almost-melted chocolate bar in his cargo shorts (he's already been twitching all over the chair) and smeared hands slippery from trying to dig it out but already the chocolate's come through the shorts onto the chair, well, you do get the picture...@carolins. That's a neat website. Wish there was one for the US. Speaking of the your homeland, the Netherlands, my best friend relocated from there with his new bride twenty years ago. Every one in a while he misses the terrible weather. You know, cold, rainy, cloudy, foggy, and if and when we happen to get a day something like that (we're in N.E. Florida) he misses home! BTW he's one of the best physical therapists I've ever met and I used to go through them like toilet paper!. He got rid of a terribly bad spasm that I had in one form or another for three decades, and he did it in three sessions. It changed my life....See MoreAdvice about leather sofas
Comments (4)It is a bit confusing when it comes to leather - there's terminology like "aniline" and "natural grain bovine" ...which can make sofa shopping even more frustrating. The leather we suggest for most families, and commercial settings is a very durable corrected grain bovine which is available in alot of colours. It's called Millenium range as happens to be the best priced leather also: https://www.strictlycomfort.com.au/leather-range BUT if you're after something very soft, and more natural looking, perhaps you would like this style of leather: http://www.leatherco.com.au/colours/upholstery-leathers/furniture-interior/laguna/3/12/80 We can custom make any of our sofas/chairs/ottomans in any leather or fabric. They're all made here in Sydney and our designers can help with some suggestions & provide quotes. Hopefully this helps a bit!...See Morecolour combination
Comments (3)Hello What beautiful Chesterfields. They have been expertly covered. The work is very professional with all that lovely seam work in the cloth. I think maybe pick out the grey/blue for the single seating. You may be able to find that colour in a Damask. Or, go for plain grey/blue in linen for a change of texture. The cushions could then be copper, grey/blue and turquoise. Throw in a zebra stripe for fun!! Pick out the turquoise then in lamp shade and decorations. An Oriental rug in those tones would be a fitting companion. Have fun....See MoreWould you combine your kitchen and dining area's?
Comments (15)I like it turned that way & yes I can see you like colour too! Nice! I'm confused about about the old dining room space, is it behind the shelves still? Is this using your 8 seater which I thought you wanted to be separate? This way though is a very practical use of space especially if you have room to move it to the right when required. You may want to consider whether the microwave is better in the kitchen triangle either under the island bench (bending down to use) or beside fridge above bench. Another way is to build up one end of the island to house it there just for the safe handling of hot dishes near to a serving bench....See Morephilippawright
