Tiling placed wrong
Comments (26)Hi annb, it wasn't meant to be rude I have wonderful Amercian friends and they agree that things are out of control there, if you look at someone the wrong way you're likely to get sued, Australia has started do do similar. I'am totally against compensation in this situation as it will never make you like it, if the tiler has changed what he agreed to then he has to make good.. When you are doing reno's you need to be there if possible or a written duplicated plan of what has been agreed to needs to be done. I feel very sorry for Kylie that this has happened and is causing so much distress, it needs to be fixed....See MoreNeed advice on decorating my bedroom
Comments (51)The bed needs more pillows with texture and patterns. Add black highlights in the accessories. Also get a lamp for the side table and a tray for accessories etc candles, vase. A few accessories for the desk like a hand-shaped jewelry holder etc. The things that will make the room less boring will be a rug with a visually appealing and exciting pattern (not a solid colour), a chair (the more interesting the better) , new bedding will create a focal point and accessories for the side table and desk. Go to freedom or adairs etc and they'll be staff members to help you choose out furniture, accessories, bedding etc. Show them your pictures and speak to them and they'll know how to help....See MoreKitchen re design advice needed please
Comments (49)thank you for your advise. I have put images of the outside of the house as that where the dining room is from there we will be bringing the decking out 3 metres which will create an out - indoor eating. this is the most finished room giving you an idea of the colour and house. all blue grey tones. sorry about stuff around but a reno house is hard to find spaces below is kitchen as is looking out to the dining through that open servery but we are taking most of that wall out to make an open space - its very small step down below into the dining through the left door way. below is the now dining. the table is very small and hard to pull chairs in and out of hence the indoor out door considerations. belwo is the outdoor looking in. from those doors we are putting a 3 metre decking i think. we have a lot of yard so its easy to do...See Moreadvice needed for tile selection
Comments (41)Lots of ideas. If you go for a "grey" tile on the floor, make it a mid grey in terms of the intensity of colour but also look at a "cool" blue or green grey to match in with your blues and greens you've chosen. The picture of the grey tile looks quite a warm grey, what I would call "greige" (grey/beige). Starting to get quite personal now in the space but your gut will tell you what is best suited and works with your house....See MoreWood & Stone Cabinetry
