Photo frame! please help me choose the frame colour

Hi!! Please help me to decide the colour of frame! I like photo colour to be black n white! But I can’t decide frame either to go with black or white frame!

White and cream can work together and it is a great idea to paint all your trim white to freshen and lighten your room. Whether your cream blinds look dirty if you paint the trim white will really depend on the cream tone/shade of your blinds and possibly the material they are made from. Remember the colours will look different of an evening under artificial lights than they do during the day under natural light. We have uPVC white window frames with classic cream architraves. I recently purchased some block out roller blinds and spent hours agonising over whether to match the windows or the trim so I understand your dilemma. I ended up matching the white of the windows because we wanted the blinds to 'disappear' when they are opened. Have attached a pic to show the white windows with classic cream trim fyi....

Frames, I think, are meant to stand out as a feature. Maybe if you could upload some images, we could have more of an input, but I think white frames would look great against the grey.

Oh! Sorry I misunderstood your post. I think it depends on what type of planting you will have along your fence line. I assume it will be a Colorbond fence? I wouldn't introduce Shale grey. Of those two I'd prob stick with Surfmist but then I think greenery looks FABULOUS against Monument fencing. The whole back of my house is Surfmist acrylic render and we have chosen Monument fencing and garden retainer walls/seating around the perimeter of our garden as it provides a background of depth against greenery. I know you don't like Monument though. Houzz does give you a variety of opinions and does make you think outside the square. Good luck with your choice!

Hi Adele, I decided to roll with them and work the colours around them to draw attention away from the primrose. I’m so happy with the result. We painted the walls Dulux natural white and added new roller blinds in all areas with a view. We installed white shutters on all side windows of the house as they have no view. The shutters of course completely hide the primrose. The dulux natural white paint gave us the beautiful white look we wanted whilst also being a warm enough colour not to clash or highlight the yellow tint of the primrose. We installed a white kitchen and white shutter in the kitchen(no view on this side) We installed new flooring, it has a slight warmth without being yellow. Yes black as suggested, you could choose your favourite photos, choose frames in identical size, crop or enlarge photos to same size to create a beautiful coordinated look.

I’ve been in the same spot before—I love black-and-white photos too. When I was framing an old family portrait, I went back and forth between black and white frames for days. In the end, I chose a white frame for a lighter, more modern vibe, but honestly, a black frame adds this bold, classic look that’s hard to beat.

If you’re still unsure, maybe try a digital frame from Nixplay (https://www.nixplay.com/). I got one recently, and it’s been amazing because I can try out photos in different styles—black and white, sepia, or full color—without committing to a specific frame.
