Our apartment is perfect for my partner and I as we love monochrome, soft colours and grey! The owners before us loved the red and black combo so added a HUGE red glass panel stuck onto the black caesarstone splashback as a feature. They did something similar in the bathroom over marble (gasp!) and in the study they replaced the inbuilt black wooden desk with red wood laminate. As it is super expensive to replace marble and caeserstone it is something we can't do right now and have to live with it. I tend to block it out of my mind... It's horrid.

hi we have about six months ago now, re done our bath room , similar size to yours, and , i can take some photos and email them to you , we have maximised space, and walls , put in a white stone bath under the window , it is a metre in width , with a cool water spout coming off the centre under the window we pu t afalse ledge in to sit , candles etc on , , we tiles floor to ceiling, off white , wall mirror cabnit with three mirrors , inset into the wall so its only sits out a we bit from the wall tiles , floating bath room vanity , so that it makes the floor space look bigger , . matching stone square basin sits ontop of the vanity to one side so plenty of room to sit all your bath room stuff when need be , seperate shower all tiled as well , with inset , shelves for shampoo etc, also , when you open the bath room door and walk in when you close the bath room door behind it next to the shower is a very narrow floor to ceiling shelvec for towels, now the hole is there we jaust havent got the shelves put in yet. , we gt loads of comments as the bth room dosent look small evn though it is , , most expensive item the sqwat extra wide stone bath , made to order basin / tap ware and shower spray thing ,oh and the white stone vanity which we had made to order as well , due to the sizing .

Alex..your shower of 1300mm won't give you enough room to walk out if it's a walk in shower...the screen really need to be around 1100mm so it doesn't splash everywhere. Opening the external door outwards is okie if you've got some shelter from the elements..our entry door open out and is under a carport/deck. As per oklouise drawings with 2100mm 600mm washer dryer 900mm shower leaves 600mm for WC which leaves you 100mm either side of the WC. It's doable though your shower door will need to swing out thus not sure if you can fit the vanity across from the shower being only 1800mm wide. unless your internal access is a sliding door.. then you can fit it where the washer dryer is. you'd still need an external access opening outwards as doors are 800-900mm and if you open in you'd bump into your shower door opening out..

Finally the job of replacing the spa bath with a normal bath has started. Firstly, part of kitchen ceiling removed to undo spa waste, then row of tiles removed to jiggle out the spa - no good! Plumber had to cut spa shell in 2 with grinder to remove. New replacement bath, same make and model, now installed, waterproofing done, tiler called in to assess the retiling job. I thought I'd be clever and order some white replacement tiles to help - ha, tiler says they are a slightly different colour but have just enough of originals to finish the job. Heading in the right direction!!
