drawknife billards
Western style billiard table with a Texas flair. With its five-point lone star detail, natural log legs and trim, this rustic log pool table is perfect for a ranch house or lake cabin.

This historic space has served many purposes over its long life, including a meeting place for business men and women, and a masonic lodge. Now it is a living quarters - featuring a stage, a basketball hoop and movie screen that descend from the ceiling, and a marquee where the owner can display his thoughts. Quartersawn oak staircases lead up to a bedroom, bathroom, and rooftop patio overlooking the historic neighborhood. Photo by John Weiss.

A white wall once again does double-duty: acting as transition between colorful rooms as well as brightening up the subterranean space. The daughter's bedroom was left unwalled as a cozy alcove, and only steps away from the downstairs bath.

We turned this once cramped and cluttered family room into a bright and beautiful haven that maximizes its limited space. Some of the space-saving solutions include sliding shoji-style doors that don't need to swing out into the room, a cool flip-around hidden TV mount that allows the homeowners to display a beloved painting, and built-in floor-to-ceiling storage spaces. Designed & built by Paul Lafrance Design.

This home is eclectic w/ a contemporary flair. These windows are a focal point when entering the home so we wanted to make a statement w/ our design. Earth tones set the stage using woven wood flat roman shades & sliding panels for the base to the drapery. I designed 1/2 moon shaped cornices w/ 2 fabrics in triangle design & a silver beaded button enhancer in the center. The Panels had inverted pleats so they would fit flush against the inside of the cornices allowing the geometric pattern to flow up & down the column like stationary panels. This was a challenge w/ the peak in the ceiling & the transom windows. Eye Catching & Unique Design.
