Adding a raised timber privacy screen to the front of the existing fence, has given both neighbours more privacy and has created an intimate alfresco dining area.

The previous bright glare of the Colorbond fence has been hidden by the slatted timber screens and the leafy green potted lemon trees and hardy Rhaphiolepis in the troughs in-between are both hardy choices for the proximity to the ocean. The stained timber adds a warm and inviting touch, and the dark colour of the troughs and pots add to the intimacy of the space.

The neighbouring washing line is now hidden out of site, which was a previous eye sore as can be seen in the "before" photo.
