French Flair - Front Garden
Adding French Flair to the front, back & side gardens of this Connolly home was a delight - especially having a client who had exactly the same vision for the space – an All White Colour Palette!
Having completed the back and sides first, the front garden design required a thorough thought process to establish the most practical outcome.
Creating an intimate seating area to the front of the house allowed an additional parking bay to remain on the far side of the property, making optimum use of the large space. Linking the two paved areas with an informal bluestone stepper pathway creates a sense of mystery.
A beautiful existing terracotta urn is the feature of the circular design, with more bluestone steppers leading to a bench seat. These assist in tying the design elements together throughout the space. The use of rainbow stone gravel mulch assists in adding a touch of French style.
The all-white planting palette from the back garden was carried through to the front. Formal and informal plants will grow to ensure privacy screening to all sides, hiding ugly neighbouring walls. Three Magnolia feature trees hide views from the street.
