Back Garden Screening Stage 2
Stage 1 was completed 8 months prior, where tall planting and large decorative screens were placed as accents to the windows to screen the back fence. Stage 1 of this project included the addition of a practical herb garden, softening the existing shed. Artificial turf replaced a hard boring paved area and the various leaf colours and textures now bring interest to this space. Strips of pebbles also add to some visual interest in the herb and fruit tree garden.
Stage 2 saw the addition of new paving, decking, a water feature which is the central focal point from the narrow alfresco area, a seating bench and additional lush planting to screen the other side fence.
Potted plants were also added for additional greenery in the alfresco and to either side of the water feature - these will be trained up and around the water feature to soften the fence over time.
