Large mature palms stand tall in the surrounding public spaces and are overlooked from the porch and front garden, lending a tropical feel.
The slight slope from the kerb to the porch meant some retaining was required, which was achieved using galvanised steel edging. Adding a mature ornamental pear tree to a large circular raised galvanised steel planter, created a stunning feature. The tree added immediate height against the two storey Hampton style home. Its white spring blossoms are a delight and add to all the crisp white elements which have been incorporated to enhance the envisioned overall Hamptons style outcome.
Another bold white feature is a large white potted Cycad placed to accentuate the front entrance pathway.
The casual bluestone stepper path meanders from the stylish Hamptons mailbox and steps up gently to the front porch. White Summerstone mulch adds a touch of crispness to the surrounding palette of soft green and grey foliage, including gentle grasses and groundcovers, which spill over the pathway and soften the stone mulch. Loosely clipped rounded shrubs add an edge of class to the overall beach vibe planting scheme.
