The brief for this garden required a large lawn with curved garden beds, maximizing the large space to create a green boundary. The layered planting allowed for foliage variation to create a tropical theme. Mature sized trees and shrubs were chosen to assist in instant privacy screening which was important due to the alfresco facing north to the adjoining road. Despite the proximity to the ocean the chosen plants are hardy and will provide the required backdrop with as much variety as possible. This large garden space is linked to the side entrance by pathways linking a deck where a spa will be located.
This large-scale design included an entrance garden, a private courtyard as well as new landscaping to the large corner verge.
