This makeover called for a new cosy entertainment area with seating as well as screening off the retractable washing line and the pool pump equipment from the rest of the garden spaces.
Planters were constructed to add height behind the planned seating. Timber screening attached behind the new planter with colourful foliage to the front works wonders to screen off the washing line, the back garage door and the pool pump.
The timber bench seating makes this area functional and practical for entertaining.
Planting underneath the bench seating ads another surprise element of green to this small space. The variegated foliage and the pebbles lend texture to an area otherwise unused and usually overlooked.
The practical edging will keep the pebbles neat and tidy and make lawn mowing easier.
