The beauty of a leafy park backdrop to this garden, allowed for some varied forefront planting, mostly in a tropical, but waterwise collection of plants.
Set within the garden bed is a large low bowl planted with a Cycad as the central feature in the small space. Surrounding it is a short pathway which leads up to the fence to provide a lookout into the park and lower garden.
Painting the fence a darker charcoal created a more peaceful backdrop than the previously stark beige colour.
Easy to care, colourful plants which will flower at different times of the year make this an all-round interesting garden.
