A Traditional Home with Modern Flair
The brief was to review /confirm the finishes selected and to have a fully furnished home that’s comfortable and elegant and able to be enjoyed once the construction was complete.
Kitchen materials are a composite stone for the kitchen benchtops with Vanilla Noir for the island bench and Organic White for the remaining benches, Dulux Natural White in 2pac for the joinery and Dulux Beige Royal for the glass splashback.
Following that through to the family/dining area, sofas are in a soft contrasting grey against an ash grey rug from Bayliss. All the timber furniture is a darker tone enhancing the grey hues and complementing the oak herringbone floor. Colour is
introduced through scatter cushions and artwork giving the overall room a sense of elegance and warmth. Most of the windows are dressed with a flowing sheer in Silken Horizon adding warmth and ambience to the large living space.
Charcoal tones have been introduced in the Master Bedroom with a small injection of duck-egg blue connecting it with the overall theme of the home. Again the timber of the bedside tables is darker which will enrich the colour and lighting selections.
The upstairs retreat is stylish and fun using brighter colour through the scatters and artwork. A great space for the young adult children to entertain.
