Cheery 1930s home

An update of a 1930s home with a mix of new while retaining some of the original features. New solid blackbutt flooring throughout,a re-paint of walls in White Duck Half, and a partial update to the kitchen with new appliances, new benchtop and splashback. The fireplace is reconfigured with the sides and hearth of the fireplace to be clad in a a charcoal granite and side bookshelves have been matched back to the kitchen joinery. A comfortable deep blue sofa with a textured ottoman against a abstract rug with marble side tables will complete the look of comfort and elegance. The room is finished off with sheer drape across the expansive window giving it a sense of elegance and cosiness.
