Hint of Retro to Surrey Hills

A 70 year old home that has been completely renovated with the addition of bathroom upstairs, new joinery, new laundry, new carpet and paintwork and then the finishing touches with all new furnishings. The palette is neutral with splashes of colour introduced through accessories and artwork. Timbers are light giving it a slight "scandi" feel. The formal living room is an inviting space to relax, read or entertain with its north facing light. The addition of sheer curtains has given the room a sense of sophistication against the stylish King Living sofa and funky armchairs and a floor lamp for mood lighting. A study nook has been created in the corner of the living room providing flexibility to a growing family.
A new modern sofa with an artistic rug design captures your interest as you enter the family room. This is complemented with the existing pale-blue armchairs and a new dining set and barstools in grey textured tones. Cushions with pops of colour give it a warm welcoming sense. The warm-grey tones are continued in the ensuite with the choice of tile and warmth is added with the textured Sublime Teak laminate for the joinery against the white marbling composite stone. Overall, a light, fresh palette with a warm welcoming sense providing years of comfort.
