The home is grand with a neutral palette which provided an open canvas for the furniture layer. The floorboards are spotted gum against beautiful marbled stone and white joinery. The clients wanted to create an impact upon entering
with pops of colour and interest. The entry is long as it leads to the living areas and kitchen so we added textured wallpaper to one side to soften the space as you enter where it welcomes you. This is anchored with a sculptural console, a brass edged mirror above and elegant marble table lamp.
To one side, the bedroom is on view with a custom-made panelled bedhead in a luxe fabric and a variety of scatter cushions in beautiful fabrics to complete the luxurious look and feel of the room. Further along on the other
side, is one of the living rooms with a modular sofa anchored by a ribbed rug and an oval marbled coffee table nestled with an ottoman.
The family room has a couple of elegant leather recliners anchored by an olive-green rug and a group of coffee/side tables nestled in the centre, one of which has a white marble top. The floor lamp in the corner creates a visual point in the room with the added height. Scatter cushions in varying textures and patterns complete the room as they connect back to the leather armchair to the side and the kitchen/dining room furniture. And the centrepiece is the beautiful Silken chandelier that hangs over the dining table and can be viewed from every angle of the house.
