The owners were able to double the size of the room and created sufficient space to include a walk-in shower that features Drummond’s elegant Dalby Shower with curved pipe and a 300mm rose in Nickel finish “We chose these classic-style fittings from Drummonds because they are so glamorous. They are luxurious, beautiful made and built to last” says the owner. The striking Tay bath tub with its gleaming polished finish and a plunger waste is set against a wall paneled in antique mirror from Rupert Bevan Furniture & Interiors, all of which helps to reflect the light that streams in through the windows in the roof making the room feel even bigger. The double Crake basin with its chunky storage shelf and the beautiful Atlantic Grey marble comes in complete contrast with the beautiful Mediterranean floor tiles in sea blues and greens from Rustico Tile & Stone. This lovely Victorian house in Battersea was tired and dated before we opened it up and reconfigured the layout. We added a full width extension with Crittal doors to create an open plan kitchen/diner/play area for the family, and added a handsome deVOL shaker kitchen.

This 1779 Historic Mansion had been sold out of the Family many years ago. When the last owner decided to sell it, the Frame Family bought it back and have spent 2018 and 2019 restoring remodeling the rooms of the home. This was a Very Exciting with Great Client. State heritage listed, 'Alma' has been restored to create a much loved family home. A new softer colour scheme was selected to enhance the brick facade and to highlight the architectural features that give this grand home its character. A new garage has been added, designed to complement the scale and charm of the original house. Low maintenance gardens, with a contemporary edge, complete the work to the front of the property. In the living and dining rooms new light greyed oak parquet floors and traditional white marble fireplaces were specified. Bespoke pale grey lacquer joinery was designed and installed either side of the fireplaces in both rooms, incorporating plenty of storage, with asymmetrical shelving which was lit with individual accent in joinery spotlights. At the side of one of the fireplaces a black steel log store was incorporated. Both the dining and living rooms had the original ornate plaster ceilings, however they had been painted white throughout and were visually lost. This feature was brought back by painting the plaster relief in close, but contrasting, tones of grey to emphasis the detail.
