This homeowner has long since moved away from his family farm but still visits often and thought it was time to fix up this little house that had been neglected for years. He brought home ideas and objects he was drawn to from travels around the world and allowed a team of us to help bring them together in this old family home that housed many generations through the years. What it grew into is not your typical 150 year old NC farm house but the essence is still there and shines through in the original wood and beams in the ceiling and on some of the walls, old flooring, re-purposed objects from the farm and the collection of cherished finds from his travels. Justin Moorland. Solid Apollo LED. Here Waterproof Pure White LED Strip Lights were added behind the bathroom mirrors, as back lighting, for an incredible indirect lighting effect. The soft glow from the strip light not only adds to the modern layout of the bathroom, but also keeps with the simplistic design as no lighting fixtures disturb the well planned design. The Waterproof LED Strip Lights are easy to control and easy to dim for just the right amount of light. Here the LED Strip Light was placed along the edges of the back of the mirrors, and then the mirror was hung just over an inch away from the wall to avoid creating hot spots (where individual LED's are shown) for a completely smooth linear lighting effect all around the mirror.

We put in an extra bathroom with the extension. We designed this vanity unit, which was custom made, and added in large baskets to hold towels and linens. We love using wall lights in bathrooms to add some warmth and charm.

Although of an obvious choice these day, we love metro tiles. The clean white space with the Dove Grey grout really worked making the tight space feel much cleaner and bigger.

Waynesboro master bath renovation in Houston, Texas. This is a small 5'x12' bathroom that we were able to squeeze a lot of nice features into. When dealing with a very small vanity top, using a wall mounted faucet frees up your counter space. The use of large 24x24 tiles in the small shower cuts down on the busyness of grout lines and gives a larger scale to the small space. The wall behind the commode is shared with another bath and is actually 8" deep, so we boxed out that space and have a very deep storage cabinet that looks shallow from the outside. A large sheet glass mirror mounted with standoffs also helps the space to feel larger. What started as a kitchen and two-bathroom remodel evolved into a full home renovation plus conversion of the downstairs unfinished basement into a permitted first story addition, complete with family room, guest suite, mudroom, and a new front entrance. We married the midcentury modern architecture with vintage, eclectic details and thoughtful materials.

A meticulously remodeled bathroom that merges classic charm with modern functionality. The space is defined by a serene, seafoam green subway tile shower surround, punctuated by a strip of intricately patterned accent tiles that infuse a pop of color and personality. The shower area is encased in a frameless glass door, enhancing the open feel of the room. Contrasting the cool tones, the terracotta hexagonal floor tiles bring a warm, earthy essence to the bathroom, harmonizing with the natural light that filters through the textured window shade. A traditional white vanity with ample storage space complements the overall aesthetic, offering a balance between vintage and contemporary elements.

Thibaut Medallion Paisley wallpaper adds a blast of color and drama to the small powder room. Trim paint is Benjamin Moore-Boca Raton. The existing faucet was replaced with the French-inspired satin brass fixture from Newport Brass. The 3 light vanity sconce adds an architectural detail and the medallion on the brass mirror echoes the design motif of the paper.
